History

In the shadow of Pikes Peak, a dynamic group of community-minded people is MAKING A DIFFERENCE – brightening the lives of children and families of the Pikes Peak Region.

These people proudly serve as volunteers with Assistance League of Colorado Springs, one of over 122 chapters and guilds of Assistance League. Our corporation is:

  • 100 percent volunteer-driven
  • IRS 501(c)(3) corporation (Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.)


Assistance Guild of Colorado Springs was founded in 1968 with approximately 40 members. The Guild became Assistance League of Colorado Springs in 1970 and was incorporated as the 52nd chapter of Assistance League. The Pikes Peak Auxiliary joined Assistance League of Colorado Springs in 1993 and was certified in 1995. Together, over 170 highly motivated members bring a variety of experience and a wealth of enthusiasm to their service in the Pikes Peak area.
